Clas Ohlson are thrilled to announce that YouTube sensation Jonathan Saccone Joly celebrated Father’s Day early this year, as the doting dad was crowned the winner of Celebrity Dad of The Year 2019.
The proud father of four (and six dogs) went head-to-head with royalty and A-listers including Prince William, Danny Dyer and Declan Donnelly. Narrowly pipped to the post in the public vote was Comedian, Chris Ramsey, who equalled his wife, Rosie Ramsey’s, performance in the Clas Ohlson Celebrity Mum of The Year competition earlier in the year, both coming in second place.
Jonathan’s award was presented to him at The Shard by Swedish homeware and hardware retailer, Clas Ohlson.
He was accompanied to the ceremony by influencer wife, Anna. The couple are parents to 4 children, Emilia age 6, Eduardo age 5, Alessia age 2 and newest addition Andrea.
The Saccone Joly family won over the nation’s hearts and rose to fame by documenting their lives via the popular vlogging platform, YouTube.
Starting off as a way to impress his then girlfriend Anna, Jonathan started to document their lives together. 4 Children, 6 dogs and nine years later his experiment has turned into a career, with his YouTube and Instagram accounts engaging a whopping 4 million followers combined.
Most recently Jonathan has shared his family’s heart-warming journey through the pregnancy and birth of their most recent arrival, Andrea, who was born in August 2018. The Saccone Joly’s have a busy year ahead, as they are soon to appear on an exclusive BBC documentary with Stacey Dooley, which documents their family life and huge rise in popularity.
Previous winners of the Clas Ohlson Celebrity Dad of The Year award include the likes of Gary Barlow, Freddie Flintoff and most recently, Mark Hoyle AKA LadBaby, in 2018.
Jonathan is the second influencer to win Celebrity Dad of the Year, following Mark Hoyle in 2018, and the third influencer to win a Celebrity of the Year award, following Roxanne Hoyle’s win as Celeb Mum in March 2019, showcasing the increasing power of influencers and their loyal fan bases.
