My name is Sophia, I’m 17 and I’m from Ukraine, Lviv. I was selected to participate at the Future Fashion Faces World 2021 competition in Antalya, Turkey.
I am very grateful to Angela Andreyevskaya, the founder of Chameleon Models and National Director for the support and help, as well as to Katrin Sinenka and the best photographer Yara Jaroscha, their dedication and perseverance motivate me to achieve high results. And also I definitely want to thank my parents, who are role models for me.
Of course, organizing the competition took me a lot of effort, especially because it was my first experience. Personally, for me, the competition began when we all entered the hotel. We used to get up very early in order to put ourselves in order: we washed and styled our hair, did make-up (I’m especially grateful to skill make-up artists Khrystyna Voitkiv and Lidiia Matliuk), then we had rehearsals and breakfast.
The participant of this kind of competition should always behave with dignity. Rehearsals sometimes lasted all day. The atmosphere at the competition was really friendly.
Many thanks to the organizers of the competition Svetlana Shopova, Founder and Owner of FFFW and Jessica Do Bonfim, General manager of FFFW for the wonderful atmosphere, incredible positive impressions from the participation in this competition.
I’m sincerely grateful to the professional jury for the FFFW 2021 Runner up and Face nominations, I am glad that I have received this award and I am sure that there will appear new opportunities to win new awards in future!
