London and Brighton based brand Spill The Tea will be launching with a SS19 collection of apparel and accessories for men and women in April 2019 with limited stock available at Pure London in February 2019. Inspired by teen subcultures from the 80’s and 90’s, the vegan friendly, independent label has collaborated with leading artists and creatives from across the UK to celebrate individuality and youthful irreverence. The blend of youth nostalgia with a current subculture voice give the range an unpredictable, influential feel.

    Spring Summer 19

The SS19 women’s collection features strappy crop vests and tees in a cotton fabric with nostalgic 90’s motif illustrations including ‘Devil Child’, ‘Cherry Luv’ and ‘Retro Ringer’. Slogans play a key role in the collection with playful ‘Kiss Whoever You Want’, ‘Icy Cool’ and ‘Gotta Be Juicy’ styles designed by Spill The Tea’s selection of young designers and illustrators from the cultural hotbed of Brighton. Modern infusions are brought to the womenswear edit with key nods to meme culture in ‘Peanut is Calling’ and ‘Babes You Rule’ graphics. For summer, cute strappy mini-dresses in all over leopard and checked prints are balanced with cut cropped hooded sweats.

Heavily influenced by 80’s music and skate culture, Spill The Tea’s menswear collection has been designed to offer classic easy fit long and short sleeved tees offset with oversized hoodies. Long sleeve tees featuring MOTO-X logos and ‘Psychedelic’ hints of the 90’s rave scene are perfect for cooler spring days; whilst the short sleeve tees including ‘Smokey Cat’, ‘Lazy Sketches’ and ‘Peace N Love’ offer stylish streetwear looks for summer. Trend-led infusions are added to the collection with over-sized slouchy slogan jersey tees in the brand’s namesake.Spill the tea spring summer 19

Spill The Tea also offers a range of unisex accessories including iPhone cases, bucket hats, bum bags, and backpacks. The iPhone cases feature the brand’s statement designs with playful additions of moving glitter and sequins. The unisex cotton bucket hats offer a nostalgic 1988 Manchester feel with a hidden pocket feature inside whilst the colour-pop bum bags come with hidden zip pockets, with two separate compartments, perfect for summer festivals. The mini backpacks have intricate embroidery detail while the full-size backpack has a padded laptop compartment and features an all over black and white check print.

    Autumn Winter 19

Launching at Pure London in February, Spill The Tea’s AW19 collection will see a wider range with an injection of new fabrics including Velour, stretch microfiber, contrast stitch utility urban cottons, 2×2 soft cut and sew ribs, faux animal fun fur and metallic lightweight PU.

The Autumn Winter graphics fuses Rave, Eastern vibes and 90’s themes along with a smattering of angels, cats and internet meme culture. The core cropped 70’s and 90’s jersey pieces will continue from S/S19 along with the easy fit tees. Men’s jersey feature 90’s slouchy shapes and the classic ringer tee. Warmer pieces include a check and wolf printed polar fleece sweat, the 90’s utility cargo pant for both men and women, and a wrap over mini skirt offer clean-cut lines.

Phone cases focus on holographic, sparkle liquid and trapped metallics while the fun fur bucket hats cross body bags, bum bags and mini backpacks, give the Autumn Winter accessories collection a cosy feel.
