LONDON, 15th February 2024: Sustainable British couture fashion label Tammam celebrates LFW 2024 and launches a new iteration of its iconic collaborative coutures concept: One Dress – PLANET, in partnership with Stop Ecocide International (SEI). Charting the journey of a single couture gown as it develops over two seasons to promote slow fashion as a viable business model and aspirational product. SEI is recognised as a driving force behind the growing global movement to make ecocide an international crime and the new dress will reflect this mission.

On display in the Direct’s Gallery, until 23rd April, is designer Lucy Tammam’s unique collaboration with the European Space Agency, a collection of ready to wear scarves and couture gowns. The collection features prints of stunning imagery taken from Space of a selection of areas on Earth that have been affected by climate change. Hosted by The Royal Geographical Society, home to over 1 million historical maps, charts and atlases, the show offers a unique visualisation of the true impact of climate change on our planet. The RGS has worked with Tammam to select a selection of reference maps from its archives that correspond to the locations on the scarf designs to feature in the show.
