It’s the feel good show that keeps on going and keeps on delivering – and after five years, come January 2026, it will be taking on a new life – going on tour.
‘The Choir of Man’ has been playing to packed houses at the Arts Theatre in Central London since 2021, and has earned nothing but praise from both critics and audience members (online reviews state the show was ‘awesome,’ ‘what a fabulous experience’ and ‘a joyous experience’). And just as it says on the theatre marquee, this show is a choir of men – nine men simply singing popular songs from famous artists such as Guns’N’Roses, Paul Simon, and Adele. But it’s actually much more than that. The men, who all sing very well with each other, bring us a heartwarming and enjoyable evening of laughter, humour and toe tapping. And we get to know who each man is and a bit about their background via a narrator. This is not acting, this is singing (and storytelling) at its best. And these nine men do it all in a pub on the stage – it’s real, cozy, and authentic.
And the audience members can drink at the pub as well – just arrive a bit on the early side before start time and you can buy a drink on stage and mingle with the choir before heading back to your seat to enjoy the show. And you’ll enjoy it immensely, and at 90 minutes with no interval, it goes by a bit too fast.
The last performance at the Arts Theatre will be on January 4, 2026.
