Paris, July 7, 2025 – The Oriental Fashion Show, an international platform dedicated to promoting emerging and established talents from around the world, had the honor of presenting its Fall/Winter 25/26 collections on July 6, 2025, at the prestigious Le Meurice hotel in the heart of Paris. This event, held during Haute Couture Fashion Week, was a celebration of contemporary fashion, blending heritage and innovation.

A Two-Part Program, Bridging Heritage and Innovation

The day featured two key moments dedicated to elegance and creativity, offering an immersion into the richness of Oriental fashion:

The Oriental Fashion Show highlighted seven exceptional designers from Central Asia and the Middle East, each presenting collections infused with their unique cultural identity:

    • Lali Fashion (Uzbekistan): Sustainable ready-to-couture, rooted in Uzbek textile traditions and enhanced with universal elegance.
    • Jamila Alsuwait (Kuwait): A jewel of Kuwaiti luxury, celebrating femininity through poetic and refined creations.
    • Göwher PIRKULYYEVA-GOUVERNET (Turkmenistan): A Turkmen designer trained in Paris and Saint Petersburg, merging French tailoring with nomadic influences for a sophisticated style.
    • Golli (Turkmenistan): A young Turkmen brand founded in 2021, redefining contemporary fashion codes by blending traditional motifs with clean lines.
    • Tamam Humariff (United Arab Emirates): A designer from the United Arab Emirates bringing her unique vision to the Oriental fashion scene.
    • Mashael Al Mutawa (Kuwait): A new creative voice from Kuwait, making her notable debut on the Oriental Fashion Show stage with an unprecedented artistic
    • And Debaj (Qatar) fashion house exclusively unveiled its first Haute Couture evening gown collection, “The Mysterious ” This collection is a true ode to feminine grace and Qatari cultural heritage, marking the entry of Debaj, an iconic figure in modest luxury fashion, into the world of Haute Couture.

    Committed and Unique Designers

Each of these fashion houses embodies a strong and distinctive vision of Oriental fashion, where ancestral craftsmanship harmoniously dialogues with contemporary aesthetics, offering a diverse and innovative panorama of creation.

The Oriental Fashion Show continues to strengthen its commitment to providing a global platform for designers who perpetuate exceptional savoir-faire while innovating.

About the Oriental Fashion Show: The Oriental Fashion Show is an initiative aimed at promoting and showcasing Oriental fashion on the international stage. Through prestigious fashion shows and events, the platform offers unique visibility to designers who reinterpret traditional codes with a contemporary vision.

    DESIGNERS

    LALI FASHION

The Uzbek fashion house LALI will unveil its Fall–Winter 2025/26 collection at the Oriental Fashion Show in Paris, held in conjunction with Haute Couture Week. For this edition, designer Lali Fazilova pays tribute to the golden embroidery legacy of Bukhara, presenting a series of sophisticated pieces that merge ancestral craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Entitled Legacy in Bloom: Echoes from Bukharian Walls, the collection draws inspiration from the floral murals of the Sitorai Mokhi Khosa summer palace and traditional symbols like the peshkurta and the Lali, reinterpreted into modern silhouettes.

The collection is the result of extensive research carried out in close collaboration with renowned artisans from Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent, including masters like Mahfuza Salimova and Nargiz Muradova. Through luminous and narrative embroidery, LALI explores a refined, poetic, and timeless vision of the East, contributing to a wider cultural dialogue highlighted by the launch of the first Bukhara Biennale. This initiative reflects the brand’s desire to reposition Central Asian textile arts at the forefront of contemporary fashion and cultural discourse.

To enhance the silhouettes, the brand collaborates for the first time with SALTANAT Diamonds Gallery, a prestigious Kazakh jewelry house known for its nature-inspired creations made with precious stones. A capsule collection was designed exclusively for the show, featuring motifs drawn from the landscapes of Kazakhstan — tulips, butterflies, rivers, and mountains — offering a fresh interpretation of Eastern elegance. This unprecedented collaboration between fashion and fine jewelry marks a significant moment for Central Asia’s creative scene, affirming a luxury aesthetic rooted in authenticity and heritage.

Supported by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan and presented under the patronage of OFS Officiel, the show highlights a new generation of designers committed to celebrating and elevating the cultural richness of the East. In Paris, LALI is not merely presenting a fashion collection — she is weaving a story, one that bridges memory and modernity, and asserts a bold and renewed expression of heritage.

The next major milestone will be GÓLLI’s participation in the Oriental Fashion Show in Paris in July 2025, where the brand will once again unveil its latest collection.

GÓLLI is a platform for creative self-expression, where fashion becomes a tool for visual storytelling, dialogue with the world, and the development of personal style. The brand is confidently forging its name in the global fashion industry.

    GÖWHER GOUVERNET

In Ashgabat, she launched her eponymous brand in 2022—nomadic like her culture—through a Turkmen-baroque fashion show accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra, and a fashion happening during the first contemporary art exhibition ever held in Turkmenistan.

Since 2024, in collaboration with the Oriental Fashion Show, her collections have been showcased during Haute Couture Week at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris, at the Tanger Fashion Week, the Ana Arabia exhibition in Riyadh, and during Milan Fashion Week.

In June 2025, she is honored at the major national exhibition TurkmenTextile, where her creations are presented before an audience of over 1,000 guests.

Driven by a passion for stage costumes, Göwher dresses soloists such as German soprano Neima Fischer, French pianist Joanna Goodale, German singer Katharine Mehrling, and Turkmen vocalist Döwran Shammiyev. In May 2025, she designed the costumes for RITUALS, the very first contemporary dance production in Turkmenistan.

Her style, shaped by two cultures, is distinguished by the refinement of traditional textile craftsmanship combined with the French art of garment construction: the elegance of the Turkmen woman blended with the chic of the Parisian.

    HUMARIFF

    MASHAEL AL MUTAWA

The Collection is the brainchild of Kuwaiti powerhouse, Mashael Al Mutawa. Mashael is an outstanding example of a Kuwaiti female success story. This highly talented Kuwaiti national is a mother to two young children, a wife and a full time employee of the Government of Kuwait as well as being the force behind one of the regions most successful Fashion Brands.

Mashael’s love for textiles and colours is what inspired this success story almost ten years ago. She takes her role as a fashion designer very seriously and is continuously onsite in her Atelier to meet and advise clients as well as allowing them to add their own personal touch if desired. She personally sources her materials from local markets as well as international sources in Japan and Italy all depending on the season and the collection in which her inspiration is derived from. Having a very intimate involvement in the whole design process from sketching to execution and final delivery ensures Mashael is highly knowledgeable on body shapes and what exactly the women of the GCC and beyond want.

DesignME has grown into a highly successful Brand in Kuwait with many people recognizing the gowns and pieces when worn in the local community which is itself is a huge sign of “breaking the market”. The key to this success is being consistent with ensuring only the highest quality of finishings are delivered and using materials which are durable and long lasting. In addition to this, DesignME is a colourful and vibrant brand! Bright colours and structured cuts are key in each collection along with incorporating stones and sliver metallic pieces.

In addition to the above, Mashael is one of the “go to” designers in Kuwait for local bridal consultations. Being a Kuwaiti is paramount in ensuring she has a magical touch when designing a bridal dress for the most important day in a lady’s life.

In 2015 DesignME participated in Phoenix Fashion Week and Mashael was the first Kuwaiti female fashion designer to have participated, which in itself is a huge achievement. This was just the beginning for DesignME as in September 2017, Mashael was the opening designer for NYFW in Association with Art Hearts Fashion. This was a huge milestone for the Brand and to end the year off on an exceedingly high note DesignMe had a full house at the opening of her new boutique in 89 Mall in December. In addition to dressing Bollywood and international celebrities 2017 was a highly successful year for this local grown label.

With the world as her Oyster and her desire to grow her brand and knowledge, DesignME is a name which will be synonymous with Kuwait and leading fashion designers in the near future
