Found at the southern fringes of the Cotswolds – one of rural England’s foodie hotspots, De Vere Tortworth Court has created ‘The Great British Afternoon Tea’ – an outdoors-inspired menu of savouries and cakes.De vere tortworth court

The menu uses homegrown and locally sourced quality produce and includes Tortworth Estate duck egg and watercress sandwiches, with eggs laid by the resident ducks; Wiltshire ham and Tortworth Estate green tomato chutney – made from the hotel’s tasty tomato crop and De Vere honey and lavender cake, made with honey from the Group’s own beehives. For an extra dash of indulgence, guests can add a glass of Lanson Champagne at an additional cost or an English Garden cocktail, made with Beefeater London dry gin, apple juice, elderflower, fresh lime and topped with lemon tonic.
