Whether you are living in London and wanting a weekend getaway or visiting the beautiful capital city, there is plenty of choice of places to stay, but sometimes it’s tricky trying to find the perfect accommodation that ticks all boxes….I have though indeed found a very homely, cosy and superb facilitated place to stay for families, solo travellers or couples, The Lincoln Suites is what I am talking about and where location wise, you really won’t find any better when it comes to scenery, restaurants, bars and being so central in London.
The Lincoln Suites are located on London’s famous Kingsway, and with this stylish aparthotel providing its clientele with fully equipped rooms, studios and suites for a comfortable and authentic London living, you really will love every moment and be able to cherish the memories made here.
The rooms are extremely bright and airy with an ultra modern feel to them and the very best in facilities and gadgets to ensure you have a comfortable and home like stay. The rooms are not your average rooms as they all contain large double beds, kettles and wait for it coffee fans – there is your very own Nespresso machine on hand to fuel those morning starts and get your day going. There are other facilities ranging from large smart TV’s to fridges and microwaves and more. The rooms are perfect to fit two people so be assured there is plenty of room and comfort on hand for your stay. All rooms contain a large walk in shower with some beautiful toiletries so you can also travel that little bit lighter.
Moving onto a larger space, there are a few various studio’s on hand at The Lincoln Suites and where these are perfect to really be able to explore and enjoy London living at its best. All studios are fitted with fully equipped kitchenette so there is pretty much everything on hand for you to make yourself at home, feel free to cook up a scrumptious breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Bed wise, the studios come with a large double bed and like the rooms, contain a kettle and Nespresso machine along with smart tv and walk in shower. There are some little extras which also add a smile to my face, so you will find a hairdryer, slippers and a beautifully soft bathrobe.
For those travelling with family or little ones/children, there are some beautifully sized suites on hand to book and where these certainly do make for a very special stay and where there is just everything present for you to feel relaxed and comfortable.
The suites come in 2 styles, you can either choose a one bedroom suite or a family one bedroom suite, but both come with a living room and fully sized kitchen. All suites have a separate living space and where the family suites have a comfortable sofa bed so another extra space for your loved ones. Kitchens come with dishwashers and ovens so there is ease when it comes to cooking and washing up. The suites really do make a perfect living space and are highly recommended in the sense of their offerings and just a very pleasant and attractive, comfortable and elegant stay. Size wise, they are very impressive!
The biggest chore for me after any stay away from home is the laundry but what made this aparthotel extra special was that there was a mini laundrette on hand for clientele to use and complimentary too! There are a couple of washing machines on hand as well as high powered dryers which makes a perfect end to the stay so you can go back home with freshly washed and dried clothing, this really made a difference to me, especially travelling with little ones. The suites do have their own washer/dryer in them but where the ones located on the basement floor were far more powerful and convenient to use.
Location wise, The Lincoln Suites are around a 5 minute walk from Holborn tube station and around 10 minutes walking from Covent Garden, but either way, the walk is glorious with lots to see and many restaurants, coffee shops and shops to browse or pop in to. Buses are frequent and be sure to head into London’s famous Soho, also a short journey away.
If you are wanting to stock up for your stay or grab something for breakfast, there are some lovely coffee shops within walking distance as well as local supermarkets nearby. Exploring London has never been so easy, and yet so central. It is so wonderful to have such stunning living spaces so central.
The reception staff are on hand to assist 24/7 and they really are a fabulous and attentive team. I have to say the team at The Lincoln Suites really do work their hardest to ensure you stay is one to remember and where there is always a friendly face to greet you no matter what time of the day or night.
Overall, I would say that my stay at this beautiful London aparthotel was one that I will remember for a long time and where I will be recommending this accommodation to friends and family anytime they are travelling into London. The Lincoln suites are available to book for one night or for a longer period of time so next time you are in London, do be sure to check them out for your home from home for a wonderful stay.
This aparthotel certainly ranks highly amongst other high end hotels when it comes to exceptional living in London and where there is a lot more affordability with the rooms on hand to book, I absolutely loved my stay here and it will be on my list again when I next visit London.
