Today, rising artist and producer Tom Did It has dropped his new single ‘Real Life’ featuring Zakhar. Listen HERE. Following the success of his debut single “Stupid Love,” which received key support from DJ Target on BBC 1Xtra, Tom Did It continues to captivate audiences with his genre-defying style and emotionally charged lyricism.
“Real Life” embodies Tom Did It’s signature fusion of rap with laid-back indie pop, delivering a compelling narrative that resonates with listeners. The track showcases Tom Did It’s artistic versatility, with melodic beats laying the groundwork. Tom’s passionate vocal delivery captures the essence of the song’s themes, exploring the complexities of young love and heartbreak in a raw and authentic manner.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind “Real Life,” Tom Did It shares: ‘“This was the first time I worked with 169 and Zakhar as a collective but have had worked with 169 before and knew him, Zak and I could make something special, and Real Life came to us really quick. In that session we ended up completing 3 songs in total. We just are basically on the same vibe, we relate to each other a lot. We are the same age, and are at the same stage in our careers.. we’re the next generation coming through navigating the industry and real life”
At just 20 years old, Tom Did It has already made waves in the industry, having worked with acclaimed artists such as Chip, Imanbek, Sigala, and Nafe Smallz. His innate talent and unwavering dedication to his craft have earned him recognition as a multi-faceted artist, engineer, and producer. He recently featured on Nafe Smallz project which dropped in February entitled ‘L.O.V.E’ & he’s confirmed to perform at All Points East festival this August.
