Design-led, international lifestyle event, Top Drawer, hosted its stand out Spring/Summer 17 (SS17) edition this January (15-17) at London Olympia. The must-see fashion show took centre stage presenting six key aesthetic trends for the upcoming SS17 season. The fashion show expertly showcased new directions in jewellery and accessories to inspire buyers to source with confidence, knowing what their customers will want to buy in the seasons ahead.

Headline sponsor The Design Lab was the creative branding and strategy agency at the helm of this season’s catwalk. The dynamic fashion show featured key sponsors within the edit from Bahamian hand crafted statement jewellery collection Autumn Crop to costume jewellery from One Button; scarves and accessories styled from Hem & Edge and ethically sourced alpaca creations that have been handmade in Peru and designed in Scotland by established lifestyle brand Samantha Holmes.
TRIBE VIBES Pattern, material and texture reference a tribal, natural vibe in this tactile direction. Away from pure neutrals, colour is vivid, shapes are bold and the urge to touch almost irresistible.

THE BLUES

The tranquil tones of myriad different blues grace everything with a touch of beautiful, ethereal cool. For enduring appeal and a serene seasonal scene, add a blue note.

HAPPY

This direction sees eye-popping colour, modern materials and strong, graphical influences across a vibrant selection of jewellery and accessories for a very hot new season.

HONEST SIMPLICITY

Here the aesthetic is fluid; the colour palette soft, warm and natural. This direction offers calm sensuality with organic influences.

ECHOES OF DECO

Bold geometrics, metallic and an aura of luminous luxe characterize this ultra-glam trend. Think high-shine, high design, max desirability.

70’s REMIX

The distinctively bright colour combinations and dynamic patterns so redolent of 70s décor get a fresh update within a range of modern jewellery and accessories, perfect for now.
