FAB UK International Media Group Launches “Women Behind the Scene Awards” to Honor Unseen Global Contributors
LONDON, UK December 16, 2025] — FAB UK International Media Group, led by CEO and Editor-in-Chief Cem Kaplan, today announced the launch of a major new global recognition initiative: The Women Behind the Scene Award.
The project was initially conceived to recognize hardworking women within the FAB UK team, who will receive their first certificates and small trophies at the company’s annual Christmas dinner on December 16, 2025. However, Mr. Kaplan quickly expanded this vision into an international endeavor to celebrate the vast network of women whose dedication goes unrecognized.
The Unseen Heroes
Mr. Kaplan believes that while many awards honor front-line contributors, an immense community of women operates silently, supporting society, nature, and humanity without expectation of return.
“There are many women behind the scene who are helping the people in the front line but not getting any recognition. They are working hard without expecting any return for their works, often totally on the basis of volunteering,” said Mr. Kaplan. “These women are unknown heroes. We believe women can change the world in a positive way if the opportunities are given.”
The Women Behind the Scene Award aims to shine a light on these individuals whose selfless contributions range from human welfare to environmental stewardship, animal protection, and education.
A Call for Trusted Nominators
Emphasizing that this is recognition, not a competition, the organization is focusing on securing nominations from trusted global companies and individuals.
* Focus: The goal is to ensure the right people those contributing unseen work, receive a certificate of recognition for their impact.
* Nominations: Each trusted nominating company will be given the chance to submit nominations throughout the year, relying on their honest belief in the nominee’s contribution. The organization intends to award as many deserving women as possible.
* Partnership: Trusted nominators will be featured on a dedicated “Powered By” page on the official website, including their name, logo, and a short company description. Participation is entirely free of charge.
The recognition will be conferred via digital certificate, as the recipients are located across the globe. While there will be no central ceremony for the awards, the organization will host occasional dinner galas to raise funds dedicated to helping more women in need.
