Covent Garden has many stunning restaurants but one that has it all and remains top for British cuisine has to be Browns Brasserie.

The restaurant is situated in the very luxurious St Martin’s Lane and is a huge hit for breakfast, lunch and dinner and has been for many years.

Browns is a hit with families and being located in the centre of theatre-land, it’s a popular option for those wanting a delicious meal for heading off to the theatre.

The food portions are affordable and are certainly on the large side and are full of taste and authenticity.

Favourite and popular dishes to name a few are the traditional fish and chips, lobster linguine and steaks. These are certainly ones to try and where they are ones to please hungry appetites. There are some wonderful vegetarian options too and a great selection for kids and little ones to enjoy.

If you are looking for an end of the week Sunday treat, then be sure to indulge in Browns Sunday Roast menu and enjoy your favourite roast with all the trimmings and more.

Browns offers a selection of beautifully freshly carved meats ranging from roast beef to slow cooked pork belly to chicken. These are served with all trimmings not forgetting some giant Yorkies!

There is also a decadent sharing Sunday Chateaubriand, vegan Root Vegetable, Walnut, Almond and Cranberry Roast and should you have little ones, there is a suited menu for the kids.

The Sunday Roasts are available alongside the Browns A La Carte menu every Sunday, do book in advance and please note that they do sometimes sell out by the evening.

The staff are very much on hand to answer any questions you may have on their menu and also provide some wonderful recommendations should you be stuck on what to order. They are friendly and there is a very elegant and charming behaviour amongst the staff which makes it a very pleasant place to dine. You are not left feeling rushed and where you are also left to enjoy the ambience of the restaurant.

I really liked that the food at Browns was consistent in terms of their quality and where you were guaranteed a delicious and hearty meal. The freshness of the food was definitely present in each of their dishes that we had ordered and where we were not left feeling hungry or disheartened in anyway. The atmosphere is perfect for whether you are wanting a meal with colleagues family or someone special, it’s a very pleasant environment and one that I would highly recommend to all of my friends and family.

Browns in situated in the heart of London’s West End, a stones throw from Covent Garden and so there is plenty to see and do and where the atmosphere will keep you loving your day right through to the small hours.
