London, UK — The ghost with the most is officially haunting the West End. Crossroads Live and Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures have announced the full casting for Beetlejuice The Musical, which will make its highly anticipated London premiere at the Prince Edward Theatre this spring.
David Fynn, fresh off his announcement as the lead, will headline as the outrageous demon Beetlejuice, with Tom Xander stepping in as alternate. Xander earned an Olivier Award nomination in 2025 for Mean Girls and has appeared in Wendy & Peter Pan and The Book of Mormon.
Joining him as the gothic teenager Lydia Deetz is Hannah Nordberg, whose screen credits include Euphoria, The Devil You Know, and Longmire, along with stage and film work on Broadway and beyond.
The beloved newly-deads, Adam and Barbara Maitland, will be portrayed by David Hunter (The Time Traveller’s Wife, Waitress, Kinky Boots) and Chelsea Halfpenny (known for Emmerdale and Casualty, with stage credits in 9 to 5 and Waitress).
Further casting highlights include:
- Alasdair Harvey (Come From Away, The Little Big Things) as Lydia’s grieving father, Charles Deetz
- Aimie Atkinson (original cast of Six, Pretty Woman, Death Note) as the eccentric life coach Delia
- Chasity Crisp making her West End debut as Maxine Dean / Juno after performing in Hamilton (UK & Ireland Tour) and various international productions
- Richard Frame (Frozen, The Lion King) as the flamboyant Otho
- Irvine Iqbal (Aladdin, East Is East) as Maxie Dean
The ensemble is rounded out by Rachel Macdougall as Girl Scout, Vanessa Aurora Sierra (Broadway’s Miss Argentina) returning to the role, and a strong company including Jemma Alexander, Samuel Bangs, Natasha Cayabyab, and others.
Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers (Moulin Rouge!), with a gleefully irreverent book by Scott Brown and Anthony King, and a killer score by Eddie Perfect, the production promises the same wild energy, stunning visuals, and dark humor that made it a Broadway sensation.
The show, based on Tim Burton’s 1988 cult classic, tells the story of a strange and unusual girl, a pair of well-meaning ghosts, and one chaotic bio-exorcist who turns their lives (and afterlives) upside down. With groundbreaking design by David Korins, William Ivey Long, and a top-tier creative team, it’s set to be one of the most visually spectacular and entertaining shows to hit London in 2026.
Beetlejuice The Musical begins performances at the Prince Edward Theatre on Wednesday 20 May 2026 and runs for a strictly limited engagement until Saturday 17 April 2027.
