The British Fashion Council (BFC) is delighted to announce that Brunello Cucinelli, Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur will receive the Outstanding Achievement Award at The Fashion Awards 2025 (TFA) presented by Pandora for his incredible personal contribution to the industry. Brunello Cucinelli is the founder, chief executive and designer of his eponymous global luxury brand. Since the beginning of his career, he has been a pioneer in his use of cashmere and his approach to design, colour and fabric. While building out his company, he has maintained a deep respect for his employees and the human impact of his business. Brunello Cucinelli has developed a ‘human capitalist’ approach to business, with most of his garments designed and produced in and around his hometown of Solomeo. Brunello Cucinelli, who greatly honours the quality of life of his employees, continually invests both in them and in the development of the town.

Caroline Rush, Chief Executive, British Fashion Council said: “We are thrilled to honour Brunello Cucinelli with the Outstanding Achievement Award for his exceptional contribution to fashion. The personal impact of Brunello’s family and town resonate through every aspect of the brand. His expertise in cashmere has transformed the perceptions and possibilities of the industry, while his approach to ethical business building has set a blueprint for the fashion industry. I am so looking forward to celebrating with him at The Fashion Awards this December.”

Brunello Cucinelli said: “I am deeply honoured by this prestigious and fine award, which is dedicated to all our artisans for their genius and creative spirit, and at the same time, recognises our Fashion House as a paragon in the global industrial landscape. We in Solomeo believe in the values of Humanistic Capitalism and Human Sustainability, as well as in the important balance between profit and giving back, which we have been nurturing for almost half a century. This award from the esteemed British Fashion Council, for which I thank the special individuals Caroline Rush and David Pemsel, honours us immensely and encourages us to continue on this radiant path.”

The Outstanding Achievement Award celebrates the creative contribution of an individual, who throughout their career has constantly shaped and reshaped the fashion world through their innovation and creativity. Previous winners of the Award include Tom Ford, Mr. Valentino, Patagonia’s Yvon Chouinard, Giorgio Armani, Miuccia Prada, Ralph Lauren and Karl Lagerfeld.

TFA, organised by the BFC, is a key fundraiser for the BFC Foundation and celebrates the role of fashion at the intersection of culture and entertainment, spotlighting creative talent and telling the stories of the year in fashion through the lens of purpose, excellence, and creativity.

The generosity and commitment of partners, suppliers and supporters is more vital than ever. Please help us by acknowledging our Principal Partner Pandora for their support. For Table and Box enquiries, please email [email protected].
