London Fashion Week continues to be a vital platform for emerging creativity, and this September, Fashion Scout celebrates its 20th anniversary with its biggest emerging-talent programme to date. At the heart of the season is Ones to Watch: Edition 01, bringing together eight designers whose work reflects the increasingly diverse, experimental and multidisciplinary direction of contemporary fashion.
Taking place on Saturday 19 September 2026 at Protein Studios in Shoreditch, the showcase presents designers working across couture, tailoring, textile innovation, digital craftsmanship, wearable technology and culturally informed design.
For two decades, Fashion Scout’s Ones to Watch programme has helped introduce emerging designers to an international audience, providing a platform for creatives at a formative point in their careers. Its alumni include names such as Iris van Herpen, David Koma and Phoebe English, while previous Ones to Watch participants include Eudon Choi, Susan Fang, Maximilian Raynor and Orange Culture.
Meet the Ones to Watch: Edition 01 Designers
This season’s line-up brings together Adolf Maldonado, C.PROTOCOL, Chatchai C., Christine Elizabeth, Enny, Jinseo, Leila Daniele and Mad Daisy — eight distinctive creative voices exploring fashion through very different perspectives.
Adolf Maldonado returns following his Fashion Scout Ones to Watch debut in February, where Forbes praised his sculptural approach to menswear couture as having “wowed the crowd”. His latest work continues to explore the relationship between traditional craftsmanship and subtle detail, while embracing a contemporary and modern couture spirit.
C.PROTOCOL, established by London-based visionaries Jinmin Chen and Cenyi Wang, brings together backgrounds in fashion and digital modelling. The label operates at the intersection of virtual fashion, avant-garde materials and wearable sculpture, exploring the evolving relationship between the human body, physical objects and the unknown.
Thai designer Chatchai Chairakultong, founder of Chatchai C., combines the discipline of British tailoring with modern material innovation. Having studied at the University of Westminster, Istituto Marangoni Shanghai and Savile Row, his work offers a sophisticated interpretation of contemporary luxury.
British fashion textile designer Christine Elizabeth takes a distinctly tactile approach to fashion. Her signature language centres on woven cloth, intricate textile construction, tactile surfaces and a considered exploration of colour and form.
Enny brings together Italian heritage and contemporary London life, with a philosophy rooted in the love of making and a belief in the beauty of well-crafted clothing.
Korean-born, New York-based womenswear designer Jinseo Park explores the relationship between clothing, the body and emotion. A graduate of SCAD, her Korean heritage remains central to her design language, shaping her approach to silhouette, material and detail.
Sustainable fashion label Leila Daniele explores femininity and cultural identity through innovative design and material experimentation. Rooted in West African heritage, the brand celebrates the richness of African culture while creating a contemporary and deeply personal approach to luxury.
Completing the line-up is Mad Daisy, founded by Dr. Margarita Fedoseeva in 2017. Bringing together fashion, museum culture and contemporary creative technologies, the brand moves beyond seasonal fashion to consider clothing as a form of cultural dialogue and a way of restoring an emotional connection between art and everyday life.
Celebrating Fashion’s Emerging Voices
Ones to Watch has long represented Fashion Scout’s commitment to discovering designers at the beginning of potentially significant creative journeys. Edition 01 continues that tradition while highlighting just how broad the definition of fashion has become — encompassing heritage and craftsmanship alongside digital innovation, sustainability, technology and new approaches to identity.
As London Fashion Week continues to evolve, platforms dedicated to emerging talent remain an important part of the city’s fashion landscape, giving new designers an opportunity to present their work to press, industry professionals and an international audience.
