Actress and model Gemma Gordon has been chosen as the face of the iconic American skincare brand Olay, founded over 70 years ago. The advertising campaign launching in the summer 2022, focuses on sun protection as the message of global warming and its inherent harmful effects on the skin gather momentum.

Previously, she was the Face of Cetuem Cosmetics, chosen amongst the finalists of beauty pageant Miss Universe GB in 2019.


The actress

Gemma, who studied at the prestigious New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts after being offered a scholarship, has played in a wide variety of roles for television, cinema and stage.

She is a regular in ‘Dark Ditties Presents’ series, a dark comedy anthology that stars Mark Wingett (best known for his role in the Hollywood fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman, starring Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron). Gemma also played alongside Ian Gelder (Game of Thrones) in the episode ‘The Witching Hour’ that won best feature in the Unrestricted View Film Festival.

Gemma plays American College student Samantha alongside Finlay Macmillan (best known for his role in Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children).

Swipe Fever is a comedy about “hook up” culture of meaningless one night stands and superficial relationships on social media from the producers of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Mia and the Dragon Princess

An interactive game/film starring Paul McGann (Doctor Who) and Myanna During (Twilight Saga), where she has a supporting role. It will be released on the gaming platform STEAM.

Cold Sun

Gemma has a supporting role in the international crime thriller directed by Jason Figgis, and starring Hollywood star Tara Reid (American Pie), Lesley Anne Down (Justice), and Patrick Bergin (Sleeping with the Enemy).

The Coat

A dramatic thriller directed by Jason Figgis, Gemma will lead alongside Bruce Jones (Coronation Street, The Full Monty) playing his daughter.
