LONDON, UK – Bringing the rhythm of Rio to the capital, fan favourite Copacabana is returning to The London Cabaret Club this summer, turning up the heat and giving audiences their ultimate samba fix. Running from 12th June to 29th August 2026, this colourful, high-energy production transforms the 1920s art deco Bloomsbury Ballroom into a sun-soaked playground of feathers and spectacle.

In three scintillating acts, guests will be transported to the golden sands of Rio de Janeiro and enjoy a blend of tropical beats, flamboyant costumes, and bold, Brazilian spirit. Expect high-energy dance numbers, live music from an electrifying Latin band, gravity-defying acrobatic acts and breathtaking moments under swaying palms and pulsating strobe lights.
The show features timeless classics like The Girl from Ipanema, Samba Do Brasil, Conga, Oye, Bésame Mucho, and I Like It Like That, with live vocals, samba-fuelled choreography, and unforgettable storytelling all combined into a sizzling night of Latin passion and flair. Audiences are welcomed with tropical cocktails on a beach-inspired terrace before following the sound of the samba into the ballroom, where dancers in bright-coloured feathers cha-cha and merengue all night long.
The London Cabaret Club continues to champion the next generation of talent through its partnership with The King’s Trust, having launched a three-year emerging talent programme supporting young people facing barriers to careers in the performing arts. Following a standout performance at the programme’s gala showcase, participant Louise was awarded a professional contract and will now star in Copacabana this summer, bringing the initiative full circle from training to the professional stage.
Created with authenticity and finesse by Head Chef Burim Aslannaj, a sumptuous gourmet three-course menu will tantalise taste buds, with standout dishes including seared diver scallops, beef tataki, roasted cod moqueca, duck breast à la brasa and pollo asado – as well as decadent desserts such as Tres de Leche, dark chocolate delice and a piña colada-inspired mousse with rum caramel.
Signature cocktails such as the Jaguar’s Gaze (mezcal, fig liqueur, passionfruit), the indulgent Rio Vice (coconut rum, strawberry, lime), and the namesake Copacabana cocktail – a zesty blend of Leblon Cachaça, pineapple, mango, and lime, will immerse guests in the hedonistic spirit of Rio.
Under the creative direction of Doni Fierro, Copacabana is a sultry, high-energy celebration of Latin American culture, blending evocative choreography, dazzling costumes and an irresistible sense of rhythm and spectacle.
Co-Founder and Artistic Director of The London Cabaret Club, Doni Fierro, said: “With Copacabana, we set out to capture the joy, passion and rhythm of Latin America and infuse it into every detail of the show.
