Graduate Fashion Week is pleased to announce that SHEIN, one of the world’s largest online fashion retailers, will sponsor the People’s Choice Award for the first time ever!
SHEIN will be present at the four-day Graduate Fashion Week event with a stand in the exhibition space, which will have a range of fun and interactive activities to enjoy alongside a clothing display. Additionally, SHEIN representatives will be available to meet with students and receive CV’s and portfolios on the day.
For the duration of Graduate Fashion Week, Shein will also be interviewing applicants for an exciting ‘Design Intern’ position. The chosen candidate will receive a six-week placement at the SHEIN’s UK head offices with full time pay. This fantastic opportunity presents the winning intern with the chance to design a capsule collection during their time with the company along with a visit to China to see their collection in production before it goes on sale online.
The People’s Choice Award allows the public to have their say on their favourite designer from the final top 25 collections from across the week. The public can get involved by viewing the finalists and their collections on the SHEIN website where they will then vote before the voting closes at the end of June!
The winner of The People’s Choice Award will be announced on 1st July and they will have the opportunity to showcase their collection at the Graduate Fashion Week Houses of Parliament reception this Autumn. In addition to this, the lucky winner will get the chance to exhibit at London Fashion Week this September which will be attended by important figures from within the fashion and retail industry. SHEIN will award the winner with a capsule collection of their winning designs to be sold on their online store.

GFW is the world’s largest event for BA Fashion talent and will be taking place on the 2nd – 5th June 2019 at The Old Truman Brewery, Shoreditch, London.
