KEBURIA returned to London Fashion Week with its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, bringing menswear to the runway for the first time and translating the British countryside through the brand’s unmistakably theatrical, rule-breaking lens.
For Spring/Summer 2027, KEBURIA expands its world. The London Fashion Week presentation marked the label’s first menswear runway, but rather than treating the occasion as a reason to play it safe, the collection pushed familiar wardrobe codes into more exaggerated and unexpected territory.
Tailoring provided a strong foundation. Jackets arrived with sharply constructed shoulders and architectural collars, while shorts were cut high, pockets became deliberately oversized and fitted vests brought a leaner counterpoint to the collection’s more dramatic proportions. Throughout, KEBURIA played with the tension between precision and movement, allowing traditionally structured garments to take on something closer to the ease and energy of dancewear.
From the British Countryside to the Runway
One of the collection’s central references was the British countryside, although nostalgia was never the objective. Rural imagery appeared in custom-developed jacquard, while equestrian and Western influences surfaced through collars, studs and other details.
Washed canvas, camouflage and metallic tweed added texture to the story, transforming practical and recognisable materials into pieces designed for a far more theatrical setting. The effect was distinctly KEBURIA: familiar references shifted just far enough from their origins to feel playful, provocative and new.
Fringing was taken to the extreme, spilling from clothing and accessories and creating movement as the looks travelled down the runway. Elsewhere, the collection’s sense of humour came through in unexpected embellishment. A pig insignia appeared proudly on belts, while rhinestones formed saxophones and French horns, introducing a musical motif that continued through dance-inspired footwear.
The palette moved between black, cream, khaki and tobacco, punctuated by flashes of red, turquoise and metallics. These contrasts reinforced the collection’s central push and pull: countryside utility against glamour, oversized silhouettes against barely-there pieces, and disciplined tailoring against unapologetic embellishment.
A New Chapter for KEBURIA
The arrival of menswear feels less like a departure for KEBURIA than an extension of the brand’s existing language. Rather than abandoning the codes that have defined the label, Spring/Summer 2027 applies them to a broader wardrobe, retaining the humour, exaggerated proportions and appetite for disruption at the heart of its identity.
On the runway, utility became decoration, rural references became spectacle and conventional tailoring was loosened from convention. For KEBURIA, the rule book remains useful primarily as something to tear up.
