At the heart of the collection is traditional woodcarving, developed in close collaboration with Indian artisans. Functional trims are transformed into sculptural elements, each carved detail honouring the hand of the maker. These components elevate the garments beyond clothing into objects of care, intention, and enduring craftsmanship.
Material innovation plays a central role. Working with the crust and dust of banana leather allows the material itself to record time. With each wear, the surface gathers traces of contact, gradually forming a quiet archive of presence garments that remember – that Linger.
Label Astha Garg is an Indian fashion house based between London and Dehradun. Concept-led and grounded in emotional depth, the practice explores the relationship between body and garment through texture, movement, sound, and atmosphere.
