Rooted in the emotional residue of experience, Lingering explores the quiet act of staying beyond necessity, in a touch held a moment longer, in a sound that echoes after it fades. The collection reflects on what remains: the marks left behind, the memory carried forward, and the subtle yet powerful decision to stay.

At the heart of the collection is traditional woodcarving, developed in close collaboration with Indian artisans. Functional trims are transformed into sculptural elements, each carved detail honouring the hand of the maker. These components elevate the garments beyond clothing into objects of care, intention, and enduring craftsmanship.
Material innovation plays a central role. Working with the crust and dust of banana leather allows the material itself to record time. With each wear, the surface gathers traces of contact, gradually forming a quiet archive of presence garments that remember – that Linger.
Label Astha Garg is an Indian fashion house based between London and Dehradun. Concept-led and grounded in emotional depth, the practice explores the relationship between body and garment through texture, movement, sound, and atmosphere.
Sustainability remains fundamental to the brand’s philosophy from responsible material innovation to a deep commitment to social sustainability that honours the artisans whose knowledge shapes each piece.
Astha Garg designs for those who understand that presence is not loud it lingers. We are the echoes of bangles in minimalist rooms.
Astha Garg has been featured in Marika Magazine, 17:23 Magazine as well as Rediscovery Cabinet of Curiosities Exhibition as well as the Home on Me Collective x Decolonising Fashion Exhibition
Astha Garg, which had its start in 2021 by Garg, offers selections ‘Can Hiding Yourself Truly Protect You’ and ‘Chakravyuh’ as per its website.
Some attendees at London Fashion Week were gifted with absolutely exquisite silk and wool cashmere blended scarves with eco-printing which is a sustainable technique that uses plants and extracts to create unique and environmentally friendly designs on fabric. It’s a legacy towards betterment of our mother and earth, an ethos label Astha Garg carries through and through.
