On May 14, 2025, the legendary Carlton Hotel in Cannes hosted “Listen to Her Parole,” a landmark event celebrating the strength, creativity, and global impact of women. Held during the 78th Cannes Film Festival, the evening was conceived by UNESCO Artist for Peace Guila Clara Kessous and produced by Parole, a Franco-Chinese agency founded by Alice Chen and Naomi Massengo. Co-sponsored by Jessica Chaijaya of the United Society Council, the event stood as a symbol of global unity through female leadership.
With the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation as honorary patron, the evening welcomed a constellation of influential figures from around the world. Notable guests included Indonesian diva Syahrini and entrepreneur Reino Barack, Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, journalist and former First Lady of France Valérie Trierweiler, Michael Coste, and Emmanuel Suissa.
Among the standout attendees were Liu Xiaoqing, the legendary Chinese actress and cultural icon, and Urvashi Rautela, the dazzling Bollywood star known for her elegance and global appeal.
A highlight of the evening was a stirring performance by a marvelous singer Victoria Bulieieva, whose powerful voice and emotional presence captivated the audience.
Backed by luxury brands like Piaget, Elie Saab, Printemps Paris, OHBOUCE, and Jean d’Estrées Paris, the event combined prestige with purpose.
With moving speeches and the Special Contribution Award for Women’s Empowerment, “Listen to Her Parole”marked the rise of a truly global movement amplifying women’s voices across borders.
