The XXIII edition of Mazda Fashion Week Montenegro which takes place in Podgorica, capital of Montenegro, the look of stylist Michele Miglionico presents his creations of High Fashion
Monday, April 23, 2018 at 21:00, in the beautiful monumental structure Imanje Knjaz, located in the famous tourist resort Podgorica Marez, the designer Michele Miglionico is guest of honour at the XXIII edition of Mazda Fashion Week Montenegro, the most famous event of the Balkans dedicated to fashion.
During the evening the designer Michele Miglionico, the exponent of Italian High Fashion, presents for the first time in the Balkan country his collection “Madonne Lucane” with a show that looks at the Italian tradition telling the cultural, artistic and anthropological heritage of his land of origin, Basilicata.
“I am very happy to take part in my work in Montenegro” explains designer Michele Miglionico “My participation in the Montenegrin Fashion Week is intended to be a close connection between the fashion world and Catholicism, an extremely topical theme that will also be celebrated with an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met) in New York next May This collection aims to enhance the elements of the Lucan costume, craftsmanship, sacredness building a connection with the contemporary, find inspiration from the revered Madonnas and carried in procession in Basilicata and its female figures that in this territory, a magical place, full of beauty and contradictions, still today consecrate the most beautiful and precious clothes to cult statues.”
