I will always remember 2017 year with many great events and one of them is my participation at the International Fashion Week Dubai Season 5. It was a high-end fashion event organized by The Opulence Events LLC, held from 20th to 22nd October 2017 at the Sofitel the Palms Hotel, Dubai. Big thank you to the Founder & Managing Director – Ms. Cheryle Dias for the very professional organisation, which was the key to the absolute succès of the Fashion Week.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest His Excellency Sohail Al Zarooni and it was a great honour for me that His Excellency saw my first millinery fashion show.
I participated with 5 hats. A couture millinery I designed for horse races fashion competitions and costume. The most acclaimed hat I did first for the theatre “Freya, letters from Kuwait” for Allison Shan Price MBE. The same hat and two more were exhibited at the prestigious X-terrace hat exhibitions during London Hat Week the last few years. All my hats are entirely handmade in couture millinery technics I learned in London from the best milliners in the world. Thank you to the wonderful models, holders of prestigious beauty pageants as E. Dobreva-Miss Kosovo, Miss Azerbaïdjan.
The show had a super success, attended by 5000 people on both days, and catered to an exclusive audience which included royal family, Ambassadors, Buyers, Retailers, Trade houses, entrepreneurs, Fashion Designers, Fashion design Students, fashionista’s and High-end society, with an unparalleled press and media coverage.
