I recently attended three great World Tours concerts and not to be missed music events and wanted to share the mood…depending on your tastes.

Depeche Mode, Global Spirit Tour, 1 July, Paris

People are people, Personal Jesus, Enjoy the silence…To name a few hits. The band also paid tribute to David Bowie. No need to worry, they still have much energy on stage ! You will enjoy the show and immerse yourself in your memories. Among the coming not to be missed dates : 30 August Chicago, 5 Sept Montreal, 11 Sept New York, 3 Dec Paris….

The Pet Shop Boys, 18 July, Amsterdam

An amazing visual show and their finest hits? I am talking about one of the most successful Brit pop duos of all time. This should remind you first of the 80s with classic hits such as “It’s a sin” “West End Girls” “Always on my mind, the 90s like “Go West” and an opportunity to hear their new songs. The video screen beamed intense shapes. The ambience was flooded with colourful visual effects. “The Pop Kids” make you feel like dancing to the beat. Tennant and Lowe are definitely peerless…There was an intoxicating ambience and they will go on in other cities….Check this out ! Some of their many dates :  2 September in Newcastle,  6 Sept in Dublin, 15 Sept in Rio de Janeiro etc….

Lady Gaga, Joanne World Tour, 1 August, Vancouver

The flamboyant persona kicked off her global Tour in Canada and entertained her audience non stop. She bounced between new songs which sounded like Nashville rock’n’roll, her early hits like Poker Face and a couple of  beautiful ballads. The scene effects were amazing and the layout allowed Gaga and her dancers to perform on three separate satellite stages. The audience was mesmerized when she danced from one stage to another, approaching those who were first frustrated to see her in the distance…Coming soon : 21 September in Barcelona, 6 and 7 October in Paris, 9 October in London, 12 October in Birmingham….

Pop star Lady Gaga performs for a sold-out crowd at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center on Monday, Aug. 21.
