Paul Costelloe presents Spring/Summer 2027, with Creative Director William Costelloe exploring the balance between precision and ease through elegant tailoring, fluid silhouettes and a distinctly modern femininity.

For SS27, tailoring forms the backbone of the collection, softened by linen, silk and lightweight cotton to create a wardrobe that moves effortlessly from day to evening and from spring into high summer.

The collection opens with the house’s fox, a touching homage to founder Paul Costelloe, brought to life through the hand-drawn animation of Nicholas Costelloe. The motif introduces a season that celebrates the materials, artistry, talent and heritage of the house while looking confidently towards its future.

Structured biker jackets, cropped silhouettes and statement coats in 100% Italian textured wool open the collection. Oversized single and double-breasted jackets feature wide, curved lapels, sculpted shoulders and exaggerated proportions, while high-buttoned jackets with specially moulded gold buttons are paired with fluid side-pleated shorts and elongated trousers.

William Costelloe describes the spirit behind the collection:

“I wanted this collection to feel chic, effortless and spontaneous. The design and the fabric should do the work — a beautiful garment, a great bag, a silk scarf worn however you want. No rules.”

Crisp blue and white shirting brings lightness, with oversized curved cuffs, statement bows and pleated linen shapes. Fine-gauge cotton knits in cream and navy, subtle stripes and a concise palette of navy, cornflower blue, cream, white and soft summer neutrals allow the craftsmanship and fabrication to take centre stage.

Accessories are equally considered. Oversized clutches, raffia totes and east-west bags appear in tan and navy, while gold buttons bear the Costelloe family crest and motto, “Cor Unum, Via Una — One Heart, One Way.”

Silk scarves also play a defining role throughout SS27. Hand-drawn by William Costelloe and framed by bold statement borders, they are worn as headscarves, loosely around the neck or tied around handbags, capturing the collection’s spontaneous approach to styling.

Towards the finale, William celebrates Irish textiles with fabrics from Ferguson’s Irish Linen and Magee, presented across fluid jumpsuits, sculpted dresses, voluminous shorts and relaxed summer tailoring. Signature floral details and textured linen blends bring another layer of softness to the collection.

Designed and made entirely in London, Paul Costelloe Spring/Summer 2027 places craftsmanship firmly at the centre of William Costelloe’s vision for the house — precise yet relaxed, feminine, modern and effortlessly confident.

Special thanks to Paul Costelloe and the team for inviting us and welcoming FABUK Magazine to experience the collection.
