SJ Villas Adds Three New Homes in the laid-back chic Brazilian Village Trancoso

13 September 2017: Known as the most undiscovered paradise in Brazil, Trancoso has become an aspirational holiday destination in recent years for discerning, international travellers. London-based, award-winning company, SJ Villas, has added three new properties to its exclusive collection of hand-picked homes, as the remote village’s white-sand, semi-deserted beaches is fast becoming the place to be this New Year’s Eve.

Trancoso is a small village located in the district of Porto Seguro and is one of the most sought-after locations on the coast of Bahia. A few years ago, some of the privately owned, charming houses started to offer accommodation options to visitors, but with full luxury hotel amenities. Nearby are advanced level golf courses surrounded by rainforests, cliffs and dunes, and with spectacular views of the South Atlantic Ocean.

Accessible by internal flights from either Porto Seguro Airport or Salvador International Airport, Trancoso is an ideal place to see in the New Year, with exotic beaches, warm waters and the famous Quadrado, the place to be see and be seen!

Swim amongst the rainforest at Casa Viva

One of the original Trancsoso beach houses, Casa Viva boasts fine Bahian architecture under a traditional thatched roof. New for 2017 is the beautifully designed ‘jungle pool’ where guests can relax and swim amongst the rainforest. The house has its own large seated area on the beach, where guests can stay cool.

With one master suite, four double suites and one twin suite, Casa Viva sleeps up to 12 guests and the rooms are surrounded by lush gardens and just 100 metres away from a pristine beach front. The property also offers a home cinema, kayaks for guests to use, a daily maid service, a cook and a barman.

Price is available on request. http://sjvillas.co.uk/brazil/trancoso-casa-viva.html

Quintessential Cottages on the deserted Itaquena Beach

A Trancoso beach house, set 100 metres from the Itaquena Beach on the gated domain of Itapororoca, this property has seven private cottages each with en suite bathrooms, offering sea and garden views. Just a short drive to Trancoso village and the Quadrado, few tourists can reach this far along the beach meaning it is very secluded. Guests can enjoy the total privacy of the home but also the lively Transoco scene whenever they wish.

Light and airy with masses of outdoor living areas and a big heated pool, the garden gate opens onto the large, sandy beach of Itaquena, the property also boasts a gym, 24-hour security, three maids, a cook, two assistants and a valet.

The property can sleep up to 14 people and price is available on request. http://sjvillas.co.uk/brazil/trancoso-casa-itaquena-villa-rent.html

    Panoramic views from Villa Altos

Located high in the hills offering spectacular sea views, this property epitomises the laid-back chic living of Trancoso. A five-minute drive to Quadrado and a five-minute walk to the beautiful Nativos Beach, this stunning property is perfectly located.  Built in a traditional style, the rooms are large and breezy and the bedrooms all have wooden terraces. This property is truly peaceful and the shady pergola-covered day bed is the ideal place for visitors to relax.

The property sleeps up to 12 in one of the two Master Suites, one with a Japanese bath, and four double bedrooms, two of which are located in the guest house. Services include a house keeper, two maids and a cook. Guests can also enjoy the breath-taking outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by palm trees, as well as the hot tub.

Prices from £1736 per day. http://sjvillas.co.uk/brazil/trancoso-villa-altos-rent.html
