Pure London, the UK’s leading and most unmissable trade fashion buying event which returns to Olympia London in July, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Martyniuk as Head of Jewellery – Fashion, to support the growth of the newly created Pure Jewel space.

Pure london appoints andrew martyniuk to support growth of pure jewel

Taking place on the 17th – 19th July 2022 at the iconic Olympia London, Pure Jewel will showcase fine and precious jewellery, silver jewellery, and branded jewellery from across the world with a focus on contemporary, ethical, and sustainable designers, such as Cartergore and Georgia Wang.

A skilled communicator with years of experience in the industry and an enviable black book of key contacts in the UK jewellery, watch, lingerie and fashion industries, Andrew will be a key driver in developing the jewellery sector of the show and will focus on attracting new and inspiring brands to Pure London while working alongside key partners including the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) to ensure the show delivers what the industry needs.

Co-founder of The Jewellery Cut, a platform to elevate and support contemporary jewellery in the UK helping talented jewellery designers, educate and excite buyers, make connections and create experiences where all jewellery lovers can meet, Andrew’s strong relationships within this sector were built up during a six-year tenure as commercial director at ITP Promedia, publisher of business-to-business magazines including Professional Jeweller, WatchPro and Lingerie Insight.

Talking about his new role on Pure Jewel, Andrew says; “It is exciting to work with Hyve on Pure London and Pure Jewel to help push and promote jewellery brands and designers to a larger audience. Pure Jewel is a very exciting opportunity for jewellers as the show offers so much more than just jewellery. Its long-standing heritage and focus on fashion can really help open these jewellers up to a wider audience of retailers, influencers and press that they might not usually get to meet. Olympia is also a prime location and it will be exciting to see jewellery on show again at this famous location.”

Visitors to Pure London will discover a new floorplan edit with five destinations: Womenswear, Footwear, Accessories and Pure Jewel with Design Lab across these destination areas showing the newest and most innovative collections, and Pure Origin.

Gloria Sandrucci, Event Director, Pure London says; “I am delighted to welcome Andrew to the Pure London team, his knowledge and experience in the jewellery sector is second to none and he will be a great asset to the show. Pure London is renowned globally as the most inspirational and trend-led fashion trade show and we’re looking forward to the buzz of the show coming alive again at Olympia with much-loved brands and designers returning including One Hundred Stars, Brodie Cashmere, Onjenu, Lily & Me, My Doris, Meraki Beach, Bl^nk, Jayley, Alpe, Sonatachic, Joko Edu, ArtLove, Vilagallo, Envy Jewellery, ShanShan, Tale The Label, Italian Closet, Asiana, and so many more.”
