    Rituals

Rituals is one of those brands that makes everyday routines feel a little more special. It’s not just about smelling good or having pretty products in your bathroom — it’s about slowing down and actually enjoying the moment you’re in. Whether it’s washing your hands, stepping into the shower, or taking a few minutes for skincare, Rituals has a way of turning the basics into something that feels calm, comforting, and a bit luxurious.

    Rituals (1)

I wanted to share my thoughts on their body care and skincare collections — the scents I love, the products I reach for most, and why Rituals has become such a go-to in my skincare and daily routine.

There are body scrubs, and then there are Rituals body scrubs — the kind that turn a five-minute shower into a full-blown main-character moment. I’ve tried my fair share of exfoliators over the years and Rituals consistently sits in that sweet spot of luxury but actually usable.

Rituals scrubs are mostly salt-based or sugar-based, which means they exfoliate properly without feeling like sandpaper. They melt slightly as you massage them in, leaving your skin ridiculously smooth and lightly scented — not overpowering, just smelling perfect and feeling on top of the world!

For the more feminine market, the below scrubs are my absolute favourites and definitely need a spare to share the love:

    • The Ritual of Sakura – Cherry Blossom & Rice Milk

Soft, creamy, and subtly sweet. This one feels like self-care in pastel form. Perfect if you love clean, cozy scents without anything too heavy.

    • The Ritual of Ayurveda – Indian Rose & Sweet Almond Oil

Warm, floral, and slightly nutty. It smells grounding and luxe — like a spa that knows what it’s doing.

    Rituals (1)

Another favourite scrub includes Rituals Yozakura pink sugar scrub. The Body scrubs are usually around £15–£20 depending on size and  the collection.

For the more Masculine-leaning scents, which consist of more deep, woody, confident energy, the one below is absolutely gorgeous and certainly will be a treat for any lovely men in your life.

The Ritual of Jing – Sacred Lotus & Jujube

This is indeed Calm in a jar. If “winding down” had a scent, this would be it. Ideal for evening showers when your nervous system needs a hug. It’s a gorgeous fresh certainly I think more for the male market and perfect for that at home spa experience.

The Men’s scrubs typically sit around £16–£20

I use the Rituals scrubs 2–3 times a week, no more and always on damp skin. They are so simple and satisfying to use. You simply scoop a small amount (a little goes a long way), massage in circular motions int your elbows, knees, arms, feet and then rinse thoroughly.

To have you feeling even more gorgeously pampered, I’d recommend not to use soap afterwards. The oils in the scrub already hydrate your skin, and you’ll step out of the shower feeling smooth and moisturised.

Moving onto the hand washes, these have to be the best hand washes I have ever had the pleasure of using.

    Standout scents include:

    • Sakura Hand Wash – Cherry Blossom & Rice Milk (£10–£12)

Soft, clean, universally likeable. Guests will comment on it.

    • Ayurveda Hand Wash – Indian Rose & Sweet Almond Oil (£10–£12)

Slightly warmer and more indulgent — feels very “grown-up bathroom.

The handwahses lather beautifully without drying your hands out, which — if you’re washing your hands constantly — actually matters more than you think. Rituals also stock concentrate refills that turn 100ml into 300ml.

Moving from body to skin and face, Rituals’ Namasté skincare collection deserves way more hype than it gets. It’s all about natural ingredients, gentle formulations, and sustainability, without sacrificing performance.

The range includes cleansers, moisturisers, serums, and even tanning drops designed to turn you into a bronzed golden goddess and important support your skin rather than overwhelm it. Everything feels calming, well-balanced, and ideal if your skin is sensitive, stressed, or just tired of being yelled at by harsh actives.

The Namasté Rituals cleanser is one of those products that quietly became a staple in my skincare routine. It feels different from my typical foamy face wash. It’s gentle, soothing, and balanced. It cleans away dirt, makeup, and all the day’s nonsense without leaving my skin dry or irritated. If your skin leans sensitive, or you’re just tired of harsh cleansers that leave your face feeling like the Sahara, this one feels like a breath of fresh air.

The texture is soft and creamy with a light scent that’s calming, not overpowering — the kind of smell that makes you take a little extra deep breath before rinsing. It feels like it’s doing a little bit of care rather than just a job.

Namasté Rituals cleanser gets the basics right — it cleans, it soothes, and it makes your skin feel happy afterward. For me, that’s exactly what a cleanser should do.

I’ve been using the Rituals Namaste moisturiser, and honestly, i fell in love from the first application. The cream itself feels light but still moisturising. It’s not heavy, not greasy, and it sinks in pretty quickly, which I love because I’m usually rushing around to leave to go to work. My skin feels soft straight away and looks a fresh — like I’ve tried, even if I haven’t done much else to my skin.

I usually use it after cleansing, morning or night depending on how my skin feels. I take a small amount (a little really does go a long way), warm it between my fingers, and gently massage it into my face and neck. I like taking a few seconds to breathe while I do it — it turns a boring step into a mini self-care moment.

What I like most is how gentle and calming it feels. It doesn’t sting, it doesn’t overwhelm my skin, and it just feels very kind. The scent is soft and clean, nothing too strong, which makes it easy to use every day.

The product size is 50ml, which is actually perfect. It doesn’t feel huge or bulky, but it lasts longer than you expect because you don’t need much each time. It also looks really nice sitting on my shelf — simple, clean, and very “me time” energy.

Overall, this moisturiser isn’t about dramatic results or instant miracles. It’s about consistency, comfort, and taking a small pause for yourself. And honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what your skin — and your mood — needs. Absolutely highly recommended even for sensitive skins.

Rituals doesn’t feel like a brand you use up — it feels like one you return to. The scents are thoughtful, the textures are indulgent, and everything encourages you to slow down just a little.
