FabUK Magazine discovers the world of British luxury demi-couture during London’s 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair.

British luxury fashion house SABIRAH brings elegance, craftsmanship and contemporary modest couture to London’s iconic Somerset House with The Atelier, an exclusive four-day showcase taking place from 15–18 October 2026.
Held during the prestigious 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, the intimate event celebrates timeless fashion, individuality and considered luxury, inviting guests to experience beautiful designs beyond the traditional runway.

Founded by Deborah Latouche, SABIRAH is recognised for its sophisticated approach to modest fashion, combining sculptural tailoring, luxurious European fabrics and exceptional craftsmanship.
Highlights include the stunning Madame Jacket, created in luminous gold-shimmer silk, alongside the signature Princess Gown, reimagined in deep olive satin with exquisite beading and embellishment.
Introducing SABIRAH Signature
Beyond fashion, The Atelier also unveils SABIRAH Signature, the brand’s first luxury home fragrance.
Originally created as a thoughtful Eid gift, the exclusive candle features an elegant blend of frankincense, vanilla and delicate floral notes, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere.

Hand-poured in England using natural soy wax and presented beneath a beautiful glass cloche, the candle is available in a limited edition of just 25 pieces, priced at £85.
More than a fashion showcase, The Atelier beautifully reflects SABIRAH’s philosophy of timeless elegance, individuality and thoughtful luxury, where craftsmanship and creativity come together.

Kitty Noofah, Beauty Editor, attended The Atelier on behalf of FabUK Magazine, experiencing the beautiful world of SABIRAH’s luxury fashion and fragrance.
