Škoda has recently introduced its latest electric SUV, the Elroq, in a highly anticipated reveal event in Prague, marking a pivotal advancement in the brand’s electric vehicle (EV) portfolio. Built on Volkswagen’s advanced MEB platform, the Elroq is offered in four distinct variants—50, 60, 85, and 85x—catering to a wide range of drivers. With an impressive maximum range of over 560 km on a single charge, depending on the variant, the Elroq also features fast DC charging capabilities, allowing it to recharge up to 80% in under 28 minutes, providing both convenience and efficiency for EV enthusiasts.
The Elroq offers rear-wheel drive in most of its variants, while the high-performance 85x model comes equipped with all-wheel drive and delivers an impressive 220 kW of power. Enhancing its appeal are cutting-edge safety features, including up to nine airbags and Škoda’s Remote Parking system, which enables the vehicle to park autonomously using a mobile app.
The SUV’s design combines a sleek, modern aesthetic with a robust yet refined silhouette, making it an attractive choice for both urban commuters and long-distance travelers. In line with Škoda’s commitment to sustainability, the Elroq incorporates eco-friendly materials such as recycled plastics, reinforcing the brand’s focus on environmentally conscious innovation.
