‘LONDON BRIEFING’ PRESS CONFERENCE ON 1ST NOVEMBER FOR INDEPENDENT ANGLO-RUSSIAN SOCHI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL & AWARDS 2018
The organisers of the 3rd annual Sochi International Film Festival and Awards (SIFFA’18) will stage a ‘London Briefing’ for the media on the eve of the Anglo-Russian movie celebration itself, which runs from 11th to 16th December 2018.
The SIFFA’18 Press Conference will be at The Russian Culture House in London’s Kensington on 1st November 2018, to give all the latest news on this year’s exceptional movie showcase – including the Festival programme, movie entries, Jury members, and star guest appearances including, it is hoped, a renowned Oscar-winning Hollywood star as guest-presenter at the glittering SIFFA’18 Awards gala ceremony finale.
The SIFFA’18 ‘London Briefing’ Press Conference will include a presentation by SIFFA Founder and President Luba Balagova, and an open-floor Question and Answer session with the SIFFA team. The evening will conclude with a delicious food and drinks Reception offered to all Attendees.
SIFFA’18 has chosen to support the global #MeToo movement by stressing the importance of equal treatment for women in Russia’s movie business and condemning sexist and improper behaviour. The Festival Jury of 11 members, judging which films will win out in the 3 competition categories, will be comprised of two-thirds women.
