At the glamorous 79th Cannes Film Festival, the spotlight shifted from the famous Croisette to the luxurious coastline of Antibes, where the annual amfAR Cannes Gala brought together Hollywood stars, fashion icons and music performers for a night dedicated to AIDS research fundraising.

Held at the legendary Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the charity evening featured an elegant outdoor reception before guests moved into a lavish dinner accompanied by live performances from Robbie Williams, Zara Larsson and Lizzo.
The gala was hosted by Geena Davis, whose image appears on this year’s festival poster honoring the classic film Thelma & Louise.
Speaking on the red carpet, Lizzo shared excitement about her upcoming music project, saying she wants audiences to reconnect with joy, dancing and laughter through her new album.
The star-studded guest list also included Rami Malek, Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum, Sofia Carson, Natasha Poly and Bar Refaeli.
One of the evening’s biggest highlights came during the charity auction when actor William Abadie offered fans a rare chance to appear in Emily in Paris. During the bidding, Abadie revealed that the show’s sixth season will mark its finale. The opportunity sparked intense competition, with two separate walk-on roles ultimately selling for 375,000 euros each.
The glamorous charity gala once again proved to be one of Cannes’ most anticipated nights, blending entertainment, fashion and philanthropy in support of global AIDS research efforts.
