Pioneering, Independent Art Brand Launches Crowdfunding Campaign for Exhibition Championing the Work of Lgbtq+ Artists.
London-based studio, The Paint Don’t Dry, founded by illustration artist Courtney Ellis, hopes to raise nearly £14,000 for a special exhibition that will champion the work of rising stars in the LGBTQ+ art sector.
The show, yet unnamed is to be held in London in Summer 2022 and will be more festival than a traditional exhibition and will include videography and art prints, from rising stars in the sector as well as music and DJs creating a celebratory atmosphere often lacking in traditional galleries and exhibitions.
Money raised from the Kickstarter campaign (ends May 9) will go towards supporting the artists in the initial research and preparation artwork stages helping them to produce new work and supporting them following a tough year. It will also cover materials, production & publicity for the event.
