This April, The Royal Ballet will present International Draft Works at the Royal Opera House. This special event gives young choreographers a chance to share their new dance creations at the Linbury Theatre. It is part of The Royal Ballet’s efforts to support and develop fresh talent in choreography.

This year’s programme features two new works by Royal Ballet dancers—Principal Marcelino Sambé and Soloist Ashley Dean.
The event will also include performances from other talented choreographers and dance companies. Two new companies are joining for the first time:
- Stuttgart Ballet with a piece by Emanuele Babici
- Northern Ballet featuring a work for George Liang
Returning companies include:
- Birmingham Royal Ballet with a new piece by Kit Holder
- Joburg Ballet showcasing a work by Tumelo Lekana
- Norwegian National Ballet with choreography by Cina Espejord
- Dutch National Ballet, featuring a piece by Lars de Vos
International Draft Works is a unique opportunity to see the future of dance come to life on stage.
