London is by far one of the most historical and exciting cities in the world and one thing you’re never too far from is somewhere to stay. Whether you are looking for budget, mid range or luxury- you can be sure there is always something for you.

    The royal lancaster hotel

I wanted to share my love and adoration for The Royal Lancaster London which is conveniently located in the heart of London, a stones throw from Lancaster Gate tube station and five minutes from Paddington station. The five star hotel has recently undergone an £85 million refurbishment and is more than ever a huge hit in the hospitality world and a hub for guests and travellers worldwide. Upon entering the hotel, the luxury hits you instantly with the design and overall concept by London based interior designer company Studio Proof. The feel of the hotel is simply pure class, elegance and modern architecture. It’s bright, welcoming and from the lighting to the furniture to the marble flooring, there is not a single thing you are not in awe of. The staff are extremely welcoming, and are always on hand to ensure your stay is nothing but relaxed and perfect.

    The royal lancaster hall

This 18th storey high hotel boasts a total of 411 guest rooms and suites and are perfect for both couples and families alike. The rooms are one of the spaciest I have experienced in London with a classic double room being a generous 20 square meters in size. If you are after even more luxury and facilities then the executive double room is the one to indulge in with it being 31 square meters in size offering a king size bed, 55” smart TV, Nespresso Coffee Machine and stunning en suite with large shower and separate bath tub.

The location of the executive rooms being on the upper floors of the hotel ensures that the views are simply breathtaking, overlooking Hyde Park, and whilst you’re there, play some I-Spy and see how many of London’s wonderful landmarks you can spot! It really is unbelievable.

All rooms have exceptional high standard features and come complete with complimentary bottled waters, high speed WiFi and toiletries from The White company to name a few. The showers are all walk in and seem definitely a double in size. The beds complete with plush pillows and bedding are hands down the MOST comfortable I have ever slept in and enable you to have a great night’s sleep.

If you fancy a bite to eat for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner, you won’t be running short for places as The Royal Lancaster London boasts not one but THREE restaurants to dine in ranging from Modern British, Afternoon Tea to Thai cuisine. There are two bars for you to enjoy and wind down with a drink, champagne or even some tasty patisserie bites.

The hotel is the ideal venue for a break away with family and friends or for business stays and the hotel isn’t short of platinum class hosting, with events attended by Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and many other royals.

The hotel also famously hosted the after-party for The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine film premiere.

I absolutely love everything about the Royal Lancaster London hotel and cannot recommend this hotel enough.
