Yemi Alade has burst into 2018 serving up an abundance of electrifying vibes alongside her un-matched style for her new single ‘Go Down’. Yemi Alade

Presenting a spectrum of bold colours within the cinematic visuals that has just released via her multi-million viewed VEVO channel, that also boasts almost half a million subscribers, the video captures the vibrancy of Yemi Alade alongside her elegance, beauty and captivating stagecraft.

Merging a concoction of sounds with undertones of Afro Pop and RnB, Yemi Alade continues to evolve her own African style that she has become highly regarded for. For her latest single ‘Go Down’ she takes an Afropop stance on the record with its rhythmic hook and hypnotic lyrics.

Flying the flag as one of the leading female figures in the Afrobeats scene, Yemi Alade’s reign spans across the globe. The Nigerian native is the first African Female Afropop artist to reach over 82 million views on Youtube and VEVO with her smash hit single ‘Johnny’, which is now the most viewed video from an African artist. Her accolades have seen her crowned with an array of awards throughout recent years including MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) for Best Female 2015 and 2016, Kunde Awards 2015 Best West African Act African, One Org Ambassador with Bono and Michelle Obama, Billboard Chart on next big sound, alongside being nominated for BET Awards 2015 and 2016 for Best International Act Africa, and two time nominee MOBO Awards for Best International Act 2014 and 2015.

Continuing her elevation and evolution, Yemi Alade’s passion and consistency for her art is bold and beautiful on latest single ‘Go Down’.
