    The 97th Oscars® Broadcast

    The 97th Oscars® will air on Sunday, March 2, 2025, live on ABC and Hulu.

    Format

    The nominations for all 23 Academy Award® categories will be announced in a live presentation from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Thursday, January 23, 2025. The event will be streamed globally on:

    • The Academy’s social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook)

    Additionally, the nominations will be available via the NY and LA Switch pool ports, satellite downlink feeds, national broadcast programs (including ABC’s Good Morning America), and streaming platforms ABC News Live, Disney+, and Hulu.
