Antalya Fashion Week (AFW), which has positioned Antalya as one of the meeting points of the international fashion scene, opened its doors for the 9th time. The event, held between June 2–4, began with the Belma Özdemir show, organized under the main sponsorship of Arso Group and in collaboration with the Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association (İHKİB).
Held at Hotel SU, the venue welcomed guests with a special reception inspired by Anatolian culture under the “Yörük” concept, featuring local delicacies unique to Antalya. At the opening show, Belma Özdemir presented her collection “Echoing Surfaces,” inspired by Anatolian carpet and kilim motifs. Interpreting the aesthetic strength of Turkish handicrafts through a contemporary design language, the collection received great acclaim.
The show was attended by Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, Antalya Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Ayhan Gök, industry representatives, and international fashion professionals. The opening reflected the strong vision of Antalya Fashion Week 2026 by merging cultural heritage with modern fashion.
The first day of the event, under the main sponsorship of Arso Group, continued with the runway show of fashion designer Gökhan Yavaş. His Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection titled “Armored Silence,” featuring both menswear and womenswear, was highly appreciated. Kazakh model Zhengisbek Lashin appeared as the leading model. Inspired by the layered serenity of Naejangsan Mountain in Korea, the collection included 21 male and 6 female looks, showcasing remarkable originality.
The first day continued with international designers. Following Kibovskaya, Kazakh designer Chinara Yelmuratovna presented a modern and elegant interpretation of children’s and youth fashion. Her collection stood out with colorful silhouettes and contemporary lines.
Organized by Emy Organizasyon, the first day concluded with Murat Aytulum’s Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection “OTHERS.” Known for his passion for leather and attention to detail, Aytulum presented a collection defined by strong silhouettes and high-level craftsmanship. Leather, a signature element of the designer, dominated the collection alongside powerful outerwear pieces, corsetry structures, and sharp tailoring. A palette led by black, supported by shades of grey and crisp whites, highlighted sculptural cuts and layered forms.

DAY TWO CONTINUED WITH VIBRANT SHOWS
The second day of Antalya Fashion Week maintained its momentum. The first show at Hotel SU featured designs by Antalya-based designer Tuğçe Özkurt. Known for bespoke eveningwear and couture pieces accompanying women’s most special moments, her attention to detail and unique perspective were highly praised.
The second show of the day was presented by Dubai-based brand SNIM. Another highlight was the “Sunny Dreams” collection by Zhelaretti, offering a modern and elegant interpretation of children’s fashion. The second day concluded with the Big Brooch show as part of international collaborations.
A MAGNIFICENT FINALE: FASHION, HISTORY AND ART UNITED
Antalya Fashion Week, which began on June 2 as one of Turkey’s largest fashion events, concluded with the Cihan Nacar show at the historic Hıdırlık Tower in Kaleiçi. Set against the breathtaking Mediterranean sunset, the show turned into a visual spectacle.
Hıdırlık Tower was specially arranged for Cihan Nacar, known for his art-themed designs. His collection, developed over six months with a large team, stood out with sculptural forms. The show, opened and closed by top model Tülin Şahin, was accompanied by the Mediterranean University Antalya State Conservatory Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Sonat Coşkuner, performing works by Vivaldi. Featuring 30 models, the show created a remarkable harmony of fashion, history, and art.
The show, held under the main sponsorship of Arso Group, was attended by Antalya’s senior officials, artists, consuls, and hundreds of invited guests. Residents of Antalya also had the opportunity to watch the show from the observation terrace of the historic tower. Hair styling was by Caka Kuaför, and makeup was by Alix Avien.
