Today, the British Fashion Council (BFC) is delighted to announce its office move to premium flexible workspace provider, Fora, 33 Broadwick Street, London W1F 0DQ. This new central location, in the heart of Soho, places the organisation at the epicentre of the diverse and innovative capital with close proximity to many of London’s creative spaces and major retail hubs.

The move reflects the changes in working environments that have taken place over the last year. The BFC considered the evolving needs and preferences of employees and plans to adopt a permanent flexible approach to remote working. The new office space allows the team this flexibility and hosts state of the art technology and event spaces, having been designed with productivity and wellness at its core. Both the BFC and Fora are aligned in their long-term commitment to sustainability which is reflective of the BFC’s own work to encourage positive change and strive for fair representation within the fashion industry. Fora is committed to building a sustainable, safe, and healthy workplace for all their clients, which includes buildings powered by 100% renewable energy, clean air and practicing zero waste to landfill.

Fora will also join the BFC as a Patron, playing a key role in supporting the organisation in the years ahead.

The BFC was based at Somerset House since 2009. As one of the first office tenants to move in when the building was converted, the BFC played a key role in establishing Somerset House as an international creative hub. The BFC would like to thank the Somerset House Trust for housing its offices and for its continued collaboration over the last decade.

Caroline Rush, Chief Executive BFC said: “We are delighted to move to Fora in Soho and very much look forward to this exciting new chapter for the British Fashion Council. Over the past year, there has been a shift in the way we approach office work, and Fora gives us the flexibility that we need while allowing us to be in one of the most vibrant London areas.”

The BFC team is currently working remotely in accordance with guidance from the UK Government, and a return-to-the-office date will be announced in due course.
