Cos Sakkas interviews Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck about life, lockdown and her love of hairdressing
Instagram has been bursting with interviews from hairdressers, photographers and celebrities all the way through lockdown. But there is one interview that is full of inspiration, laughter and a walk down memory lane that all hairdressers should tune in for.
TONI&GUY international artistic director and British Hairdresser of the Year nominee, Cos Sakkas, talks to global creative director Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck about life in lockdown and what the future holds. The one-hour special – which can be viewed on @toniandguyworld Instagram IGTV – sees Sacha look back at the heritage of the company, some of her most memorable images and what the future holds.
Sacha discusses some of the iconic images she has created, the association with London Fashion Week and the legacy of her father, Toni Mascolo. She also discusses the current situation the world is in and what the future holds for hairdressers globally.
“The past 12 weeks have been incredibly difficult for many reasons, but it’s also given us all an opportunity to press the restart button and reignite our love for our industry.
“As a company we have some incredible memories and have achieved so much, but the future looks even more exciting. Our TONI&GUY family has really connected during a time where it was easy to feel disconnected. It demonstrates the strength, love, passion and care we have for our industry and our craft. As my father used to say, it feels like we’ve only just begun!”
