Paris, France – March 2025 – Japanese footwear brand Grounds showcased its much-anticipated Autumn/Winter 2025-26 collection at Paris Fashion Week, blending avant-garde aesthetics with futuristic craftsmanship.
Under the creative direction of Mikio Sakabe, the collection featured bold, gravity-defying silhouettes, continuing Grounds’ signature vision of innovative footwear. The styling and creative consulting were led by Betsy Johnson, while Nina Passeggiati spearheaded the art direction, ensuring a striking visual narrative.
The runway saw an interplay of dramatic hair and makeup, courtesy of Charlie Le Mindu and Rena Takeda, both in collaboration with Shiseido HMA. The atmospheric soundscape, curated by Idoi Idoi, added depth to the immersive presentation. Production was handled by Devis OK, with Rebecca Ilse crafting an evocative set design, complemented by Maximilien Pegasus’ dynamic lighting and installation.
The event’s public relations were managed by Ritual Projects, No Such Agency PR, and PR01 Global, ensuring widespread media attention. Capturing the essence of the show, photographer Cora Telling (FABUK) provided striking imagery from the presentation.
