H.Mor is set to represent Lesotho at Africa Fashion Week London 2026, as the country makes its historic debut at the event. Sponsored by The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the brand is part of a new generation of Basotho designers presenting Lesotho’s creative talent to an international audience.
The brand’s approach to contemporary fashion is rooted in the culture, landscape and natural beauty of Lesotho, known as the Mountain Kingdom. H.Mor focuses on womenswear that combines contemporary design with cultural references, placing identity and heritage at the centre of its creative direction.
Founded on the idea that fashion can be a form of storytelling, H.Mor combines considered craftsmanship with clean, modern silhouettes. Its designs seek to balance contemporary elegance with cultural influences, resulting in collections that reflect both personal identity and the wider heritage of Lesotho.
A defining element of the brand is its exclusive Kharetsa Print, inspired by Lesotho’s national flower, the Kharetsa, or Spiral Aloe. Found in the Maloti Mountains, the plant is recognised for its distinctive symmetrical spiral form. H.Mor translates this natural geometry into a signature textile, drawing symbolic associations with resilience, harmony, healing and strength.
Through its participation in Africa Fashion Week London 2026, H.Mor brings elements of Lesotho’s natural environment and cultural identity to the London fashion scene. The showcase offers an international platform for the brand’s interpretation of contemporary Basotho design and its distinctive visual language.
