Supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Iconics Clothing is set to represent Lesotho at Africa Fashion Week London 2026 (AFWL2026), highlighting the country’s fashion talent and cultural heritage on an international stage.
The brand, which has been established for more than eight years, has developed within Lesotho’s luxury fashion and lifestyle sector. Its design approach focuses on contemporary womenswear informed by Basotho heritage and traditional cultural influences.
Iconics Clothing draws inspiration from Seshoeshoe textiles, cultural symbolism and classic silhouettes, incorporating these elements into modern designs. The collections seek to maintain a connection with Lesotho’s traditions while presenting them through a contemporary fashion perspective.
The brand also focuses on ethical production, cultural sustainability and the development of African fashion for international markets. These priorities form part of its wider approach to preserving cultural influences while engaging with contemporary fashion.
Iconics Clothing’s participation at Africa Fashion Week London 2026 comes as Lesotho takes part in a significant international fashion showcase, providing an opportunity to present the country’s creative identity, craftsmanship and developing fashion industry to a London audience.
