London, UK – At London Fashion Week, KEBURIA’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection emerged as a masterclass in duality, seamlessly merging Victorian-era opulence with avant-garde modernity. The collection, presented on the catwalk, played with themes of structure and fluidity, discipline and rebellion, tradition and reinvention.
Creative Director George Keburia (@georgekeburia) deconstructed the intricate embellishments of the 19th century—lace, cinched waists, and ruffles—only to reconstruct them into something dramatically contemporary. Heavy wool and bouclé fabrics provided a sense of gravitas, while metallic Chantilly lace and plissé chiffon introduced an ethereal lightness. Beads, crystals, and sequins shimmered under the runway lights, adding a modern edge to the historical references.
Silhouettes oscillated between the theatrical and the structured, with voluminous bubble hems and sculptural puffed shapes juxtaposed against crisp, military-inspired appliquéd jackets. Eveningwear exuded heightened ornamentation, featuring dimensional velvet bow appliqués against sleek, elongated forms. Meanwhile, oversized faux-fur coats, sharply tailored jackets with exaggerated collars, and leather patch-pocket details reinforced a sense of bold, unapologetic glamour.
With this collection, KEBURIA reimagines Victorian elegance for the present day, creating a vision that is both cerebral and visually captivating. By reconstructing historical grandeur into a futuristic narrative, the brand solidifies its place at the cutting edge of fashion innovation.
