For Spring/Summer 2027, KSENIASCHNAIDER explores identity, memory and belonging through familiar symbols, functional design and the visual language of everyday life.

For KSENIASCHNAIDER Spring/Summer 2027, the ordinary becomes deeply personal. Familiar logos, uniforms, graphics and everyday clothing can carry associations far beyond their original purpose, quietly communicating identity, community and memory.

Titled SS27 | UTC+1, the collection emerged from a collaboration between Ksenia Schnaider and creative director Anton Schnaider. Inspired by Anton’s fascination with visual systems, it examines the signs, symbols and cultural references that shape how we understand the world around us.

    The Visual Language of Belonging

At the heart of SS27 is the idea that identity can be communicated before a word is spoken. KSENIASCHNAIDER plays with pseudo-logos, altered landmarks and familiar-looking symbols that initially seem recognisable before revealing themselves as something entirely new.

Rather than attaching itself to an existing club, country or institution, the collection creates its own fictional system of affiliation, questioning what it really means to belong.

    Introducing “Walkwear”

One of the collection’s most interesting concepts is walkwear. While workwear is designed around labour and sportswear around performance, walkwear responds to the everyday act of moving through places.

Practical details, pockets, construction lines and protective elements become part of the garments’ visual identity, creating clothing designed for streets, journeys and the constant movement of contemporary life.

From Kyiv to the Wider Fashion World

The collection remains rooted in KSENIASCHNAIDER’s distinctive design language. The Kyiv-based label’s approach to denim, reconstruction and experimentation is combined with references to sport, street graphics and clothing associated with identity and escape.

The result feels simultaneously familiar and difficult to place. Everything appears to belong somewhere, yet exactly where remains deliberately unresolved.

Kitty Noofah, Beauty Editor for FabUK Magazine, attended the event, experiencing the SS27 presentation and KSENIASCHNAIDER’s distinctive creative world first-hand.

Special thanks to the Lobby PR team for inviting FabUK Magazine and welcoming us to the presentation.
