Mr World starts on the 4th -24th November 2024 in Vietnam ! There will be 76 countries participating as England/UK entry Kings Guard Mr England from Whitley Bay & CEO of Property company Mr Pakistan promoting British diversity!
Manuel Alcantara Turner (22) , a serving Kings Guard in the British Army will be representing England at the Mr World competition, but he was actually born in Spain.
Raised by a Spanish father and English mother in Marbella until he was just 8. Manuel then moved to Whitely Bay with his mum before joining the British Army age 16 with his older brother & he speaks fluent Spanish & loves visiting his Spanish family in Marbella.
Manuel is hoping to do well in the Mr World sports round and hopes the British army training will help him win the 50m freestyle swimming Tournament and the 10km Marathan listing swimming and running as his hobbies !
However Manuel isn’t the only Mr England finalist to be competing in Mr World next month!
Usman Janjua (24) from Birmingham is model and CEO of a property company here in the UK but was actually born in Lahore Pakistan before moving to England.
Usman competed with Manuel in the Mr England final in August this year.
Usman is a British model so couldn’t resist competing twice .
He won the Mr Pakistan title earlier in the year & has recently been announced as Pakistan’s first ever representative to Mr World!
Usman said ‘Going to Mr World has always been my childhood dream . In-fact one of my main goals and motivation which got me into the modelling industry as a child was to work hard and to be able to represent my country at Mr World.
I was fortunate enough to participate in Mr. England 2024 and can proudly say I was one of the finalists, which has been the best experience of my life and has taught me so much!
As a Mr England participant I went on ITV morning show and was published in national newspapers such as the Daily mail and more .
I was only 1 month of age when I moved to UK. Born to British citizens parents was born there as mother had a family emergency so she travelled to Pakistan and I ended up being born there . Been raised in UK all my life but embrace my Pakistan roots
Both Manuel & Usman list their hobbies as playing football with Usman already playing for West Bromwich Albion Academy until the age of 17.

” The Mr World contest isn’t just about good looks its one of the toughest competitions I’ve seen with physically fit great looking men from across the world competing for the title !
With Manuel’s Army training & Usman’s football experience it should be very interesting to see how these two boys do in the Sports round.
There’s also a Multi Media Challenge , a head to head gruelling interview , a talent round & a Top Model catwalk and numerous photoshoots that the finalists will endure before the winner is selected .”
Contestants from 76 countries will be taking part in the 3 week Mr World Festival 5th – 24th November in Phan Thiet Vietnam.
