1. Tell me about yourself and what is your story and your becoming of a model?
Before I began modelling, I had the opportunity to work on the feature film Dumbo in 2017 and was then lucky enough to be given a featured dialogue role. I had always wanted to perform but didn’t know how to break into the industry. Working on this film led me into the entertainment world and signing with an acting and modelling agent. Since then I have had the opportunity to work on numerous feature films, some with a featured role, short films a very fun music video, an advert, TV series and as a presenter. At my first agency, we met a mum who introduced me to the world of runways and catwalks and I did my first show at House of iKons for an American Designer in September 2019, February 2020 and the virtual show in September 2020 during London fashion week. I really enjoyed each experience and I have modelled for quite a few photographers and taken part in multiple editorial shoots, my most recent was online for Faces of Fashion for the Kikimora Magazine and featured in the London Runway Mag
2. What awards has you won in the past, present or will in the future?
I have appeared in the Wild Child Magazine, Ginger Model Lookbook and have been made one of their Brand Ambassador’s for the #BeKind movement. I have a distinction for my acting LAMDA grade 3. I love to Ice skate and have passed all Skate Excellence grades from 1 to 8 and have almost finished my Bronze level NISA award. I have grade 1 piano and a certificate of achievement in Archery.
3. At your age, what advice can u give to young aspiring individuals (especially the youth of our generation), in the fashion industry, concerning body image and mental health?
I was very proud to recently be part of the short film Lockdown which highlighted mental health and mental well being and from this I learnt to always treat others how you would want to be treated, listen to your instincts & pay attention to your friends if they are sad. If you don’t understand something or feel upset, don’t feel silly, always ask someone you trust as everyone had to learn at some point. Keep your head up, be happy and feel comfortable with yourself.
4, What is your favourite designer?
I don’t have a favorite designer, for me its about whether I like a certain piece and the individual style. I like to try new clothes and experiment with new hairstyles.
5. Do you find performing enjoyable to you at such a young age?
Yes I love performing and being on a set, speaking to the Director & getting ready to film or behind the scenes at a runway, hair, makeup and the buzz and excitement of the people. I feel proud that I had the confidence to walk in front of hundreds of people and to have the honour of wearing a designers dress that they have painstaking spent many hours designing.
6. What is your biggest dream?
To become a famous model and actor and star in films.
7. Which career path do you think you’ll choose when you grow older?
I also like being behind a camera, directing a scene and I really enjoy cooking and taking photos, maybe I can combine all 3 into a career.
8. How have you come this far in your career? And what hardship have you had to face ?
My parents support me and fortunately, I have not had any hardships, I have had small disappointments when I have auditioned for a role I really wanted and then didn’t get it. I have learnt to use that experience as a stepping stone, to make me a stronger person.
9. Would you like to further your career even more and how do you plan to do that?
Yes, I will always do my best and work hard to learn new skills to further my career.
10. Do you believe your career choice will not only affect you in a positive way but others?
If i am happy in my career choice then everyone around me will be happy, family only ever want the best for you. I hope that whatever career i choose that i will have a positive influence on people around me.
