The Oriental Concept Show arrives at One Great George Street with a dreamlike exploration of fashion, movement and imagination
London Fashion Week welcomes a distinctive creative vision as SUNCUN presents its Oriental Concept Show, “Dreams Borne on the Wind,” at One Great George Street in Westminster.
Taking place on 21 September 2026 at 7pm, the presentation brings SUNCUN’s aesthetic to London through a concept centred on dreams, transformation and the delicate space between reality and imagination.
The invitation itself offers the first glimpse into the atmosphere of the show. Rendered in soft, ethereal tones, it introduces Dreams Borne on the Wind with the words:
“From stillness to motion, from wakefulness to dream, from reality to illusion…”
It is an evocative starting point for a collection that promises to treat fashion as more than clothing, using the runway as a space for storytelling and visual expression.
East Meets London
Presented during London Fashion Week, the SUNCUN Oriental Concept Show brings an Eastern-influenced creative perspective into one of fashion’s most internationally recognised weeks.
The choice of One Great George Street, London SW1P 3AA, adds another dimension to the presentation. The historic Westminster venue provides a grand architectural setting for a show whose identity, judging from its invitation, is rooted in softness, movement and dreamlike imagery.
The doors open at 6:15pm, ahead of the 7pm presentation, setting the stage for an evening where heritage surroundings meet contemporary fashion.
Dreams in Motion
The title Dreams Borne on the Wind suggests something transient: fabric caught in movement, ideas shifting between the tangible and imagined, and fashion used as a vehicle for emotion.
SUNCUN’s accompanying text continues that theme: “As the lights flickered on one by one, we stepped together into this encounter of wind and dream.”
It is a poetic premise and one particularly suited to the runway, where garments fully reveal their character through movement, silhouette and the relationship between fabric and the body.
