Celebrity hotspot, The Botanist on Sloane Square, has partnered with internationally acclaimed British jeweller, Alex Monroe, as they both celebrate landmark 10th anniversaries – it’s a decade since the Chelsea restaurant first opened its doors and 10 years since Alex created his iconic bumblebee necklace. To mark these milestones, they’re hosting an exclusive dinner at the beautifully refurbished restaurant, plus there’s the chance to bid for a stunning one-off bespoke bumblebee ring, designed exclusively for The Botanist.
Bringing a touch of effortless sophistication to Sloane Square over the last decade, The Botanist has become part of the Chelsea landscape, entertaining royalty, international film stars, sports personalities and famous faces from the music industry as well as its Chelsea neighbours.

‘Botanist Bee’ Bespoke Ring
Next up is a charity auction for a one-of-a-kind ring, designed exclusively for The Botanist. The most intricate ring Monroe has ever made and, with an estimated retail price of £1,995, the ‘Botanist Bee’ is a unique piece of jewellery featuring miniature 18ct yellow gold bees and Madgascan blue sapphires nestled within entwined gold flowers and leaves. Up for online auction on 1st October, all proceeds support Friends of the Earth’s “Bee Cause” campaign which exists to reverse the decline in our bee population and to help our pollinators thrive. The auction will go live on 14th October, to place your bid, please visit HERE.
In Bloom with Phillipa Craddock
Also supporting The Botanist’s celebrations is leading florist Phillipa Craddock, bringing the restaurant and bar into full bloom for its birthday. The flower installation across the venue’s entire façade is inspired by the newly refurbished interior and features seasonal faux eucalyptus and vibrant blooms in burgundies, blues, yellows, oranges and lush greens.
