Princess Diana gets a rousing, and campy tribute, in a new musical show called The Diana Mixtape.

She has been deceased for almost 30 years, and she is still very much in the lexicon via movies, articles, books, etc. But The Diana Mixtape is a fun, and very gay, tribute to her, the Peoples Princess. Mixtape, via use of popular songs by  Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Jade, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande and Kylie Minogue, tells her sometimes half happy and half tragic life story. We are treated to several drag queens dressed as Diana – it’s campalicious!

Keala Settle plays the title role while Noel Sullivan is tasked with the difficult, and unpopular, role of Charles. We are even graced by an appearance by the late Queen Elizabeth (and Camilla shows up too!).

Drag royalty Courtney Act, Rosé, Divina De Campo, Kitty Scott-Claus and Canada’s Drag Race Winner Priyanka complete the team of queens portraying Princess Diana (yes, they’re all playing Diana… it’s over the top!).

We all know her story – marrying Charles, the third person in the marriage, divorce, and her post-divorce relationships – it’s all told through song in this show. Luckily it doesn’t go into detail about her untimely and awful death.

Diana: Mixtape, a snip at 90 minutes, is directed and produced by Christopher D. Clegg (the team that brought us the hilarious ‘Death Drop’) and is showing in London at Here at Outernet. Diana is centre stage in this tribute, and with the lovely gowns, the staging, the lighting, and everything else you’ll have a gay old time.

Get tickets quick: The Diana Mixtape ends on August 10th, 2025.
